Brenda Marie Cross

Brenda Marie Cross, 79, of Evansville, passed away on Friday, October 27, 2023, at St. Vincent Hospital. She was born on July 23, 1944 in Evansville, Indiana to the late Cletus T. and Ernestine J. (Feller) Ziliak.

Brenda loved reading, Clabber, time with family, especially grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, David and Lloyd Ziliak.

Brenda is survived by her daughter, Vonda Cross (Michael Clay); son, Cary Cross (Sarah); siblings, Beverly Bittner (James), Vaughn Ziliak, Karen Mutschler (Jeff), Jamie Ziliak (Randy), and Loriann Stewart; and sister-in-law, Dolores Ziliak; grandchildren, Cassandra Rucker, Christopher Cross, Megan Cross, Kyrah Gibson ( Tavion Pollard), Samantha Cross and Sheldon Clay; great grandchildren, Jhe’nyla Fields and Zyair Pollard.

Friends may visit on Thursday, November 2, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. with a Celebration of Life beginning at 12:30 p.m. at Alexander West Chapel, 2100 W. Illinois Street, followed by a Catholic Mass at 1:30 p.m. at St. Joseph Cemetery Mausoleum.
