Brenda Kaye Gregory

Brenda Kaye Gregory, 58, of Evansville, passed away Thursday evening, November 10, 2016 at Charlier Hospice Center. Brenda was born in Evansville on January 27, 1958 to Marty and Paul Gregory. She was a 1976 graduate of Harrison High School.

For almost twenty years, Brenda lived in Indianapolis. During that time and while in Evansville, Brenda held various positions within the healthcare field. Brenda had a love for music, enjoyed singing, was a wonderful cook and loved her cat, Bailey.

She was a former member of Northeast Park Baptist Church in Evansville and Traders Point Christian Church in Indianapolis.

Brenda is survived by her mother, Marty (Farmer) Gregory; a sister, Susan (Tim) Fisher of Newburgh; a brother, Andy (Cathy) Gregory of Carmel, Indiana; nieces, Jill (Joe) Thornell, Alaina O’Rear and Lucy Gregory; and a nephew, Ryan (Alyssa) Fisher; and two great nephews, Hayden and Jack Thornell.

She was preceded in death by her father, Paul H. Gregory; grandparents Mary and Floy Farmer, Verna and Paul C. Gregory; and her ‘Uncle David’ Gregory.

The family would like to thank Dr. Vivian Cook and the Deaconess VNA Hospice nurses and aides who cared for Brenda both at home and while at Charlier Hospice Center. Your compassionate care and support of Brenda and our family is appreciated more than words can express.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Monday, November 14, 2016, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Rev. John Blackburn, with burial in Park Lawn Cemetery. Friends may visit Sunday from 2:00 to 6:00 PM and Monday from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
