Brenda Mae Vaughn

Brenda Mae Vaughn, 62, of Evansville, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2016, at Deaconess Hospital after complications from ALS. She was born February 2, 1954, in Evansville to the late Denford T. and Audrey Mae (Vincent) Allen.

Brenda was a member of The Cathedral. She retired from Deaconess in 2014 from Environmental Services. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and sisters, puzzles, gardening and crafts. No matter what was going on in Brenda's life, she always approached every situation with a smile.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Linda and brother, Bob.

Brenda is survived by her son, Tim (Stephanie) Vaughn; daughter, Rhia (Joe) Hardin; son, Joe (Mary) Vaughn; grandchildren, Gavin, Haley, Ramsey, Amaris, and Arabella; sisters, Naomi, Dorothy, Bessie, Betty, Debbie, Glenda, and Judy; brothers, Gerald, Dale, Danny and Michael Wayne.

Services will be held 11:00 am Saturday, June 18, 2016, at The Cathedral, 5000 First Avenue, Evansville, IN, officiated by Julie Wells. Friends may visit Friday from 2:00 to 8:00 pm at Alexander North Chapel and Saturday from 10:00 am until service time at the church.
