Carmie I. Morris

She loved her kids and grandkids. Carmie was a Christian and was raised in church. She studied the Bible and was a Prayer Warrior. She was a member of Pentecostal House of Prayer.

Carmie was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth; son, Roger Phelps; daughter, Sharon Morris; granddaughter, Shannon Blincoe; brothers, Taylor and Givens Phelps; and sister, Fannie Phelps.

She is survived by daughters, Rebecca Boyd (Randy), Linda Shelton; son-in-law, William Morris; grandchildren, William Morris II (Kelly), Shannon Morris, Elisha Wheeler, Gary Gordon, Angie Shelton, Courtney Shelton, Scotty Yates; great-grandchildren; step great-grandchildren, Dale, Brittany, Katelynne Daugherty; and step great-great-grandchild, Rylin Pearson.

Funeral Services will be 12:00 PM, Friday, July 22, 2016, at Alexander East Chapel officiated by Pastor Gil Mullen and Pastor Sam Gardener with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit 10:00 AM until service time on Friday at the funeral home.
