Carol M. Englert Miller

Carol served as a foster parent for the Catholic Charities for ten years. She also ran a home daycare for over 15 years.

She was married to Jack Miller for almost 25 years. He preceded her in death.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Irene Hendricks, Veronica Birkenfeld, and Anita Steenerson; and brothers, Eugene and James Englert.

Carol is survived by her son, Craig A. Miller and wife Angela; grandsons, Zachary and Evan Miller all of Springfield, IL; step-daughters, Patty Streicher of Huntingburg, IN, Jackie Dillion of Washington, IN, Terri Pancake of Jasper, IN; Kathy Kress of Tell City, IN, and Mary Kippenbrock of Huntingburg, IN; step-son, Mike Miller of Jasper, IN; 10 step-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Lou Englert of Huntingburg, IN.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 AM Saturday, May 7, 2011 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church with burial at St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may visit Friday from 3:00 to 8:00 PM at Alexander North Chapel.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Catholic Charities of Evansville, Mater Dei High School, and Holy Redeemer Catholic Church.
