Carolyn Sue Jones

She had a generous and loving heart, and her door was always open to her many "honorary children." She was always there for anyone who needed a helping hand or a listening ear. Carolyn found joy in collecting trolls and angel figurines, and she was a devoted Elvis fan. In her spare time, she also enjoyed coloring.

Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Rachiel Eckert (Terrance); son, Ryan Lively (Linda); brother, Wayne DeVillez (Pat) and grandchildren, Bryce Eckert, Kayne Eckert, William Eckert, Mary Biggs and Daimen Biggs.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Judy Driskil; brother, Merle DeVillez; daughter, Michelle Dann and grandson, Ryan Lively II.

A Funeral Service will be 1:30 p.m., Monday, June 29, 2026 at Alexander West Chapel, 2100 W. Illinois Street, officiated by Rev. David Schwambach, with her final resting place in Locust Hill Cemetery. Family and friends may visit Monday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
