Carolyn Wiggers

Carolyn was born October 26, 1927, in Gary, Indiana to Edwin Henry Wiggers, Sr. and Marian Ferrel Wiggers. Her family moved to Evansville when she was a few years old. In Evansville she attended Benjamin Bosse High School. She continued her education with a degree from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.

Carolyn enjoyed a 40 plus year career as a buyer and later as vice president of marketing with L. S. Ayers department store in Indianapolis. Her position afforded her the opportunity to travel the world. She led a full life as a strong, generous, respected woman, loved and adored by her family and countless friends. She was a lifelong member of the P. E. O. sisterhood, a lover of yardbirds, and an avid Indianapolis Colts fan.

Carolyn remained unmarried and is survived by her nephews, George, Thomas, and Mark Wiggers; their families; and her sister-in-law, Jeanne Wiggers.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Edwin Henry Wiggers Jr.
