I was very sad to hear that Kenny passed. He and Marion came to VFW Post 1114 almost every day. I offer my condolences to the Clark and Greenfield families.

I have many fond memories of times spent with my Aunt Marion and Uncle Kenny. Whether it was visiting their home in Evansville or a family reunion, I always looked forward to seeing them. Big hugs, a bowl of popcorn and a lively conversation were always part of the visit. Recently, I enjoyed stopping by their home with my own children.

I'm so sorry to hear the news. I know Uncle Kenny will be greatly missed. Aunt Marion, Mike, Doug and Janet please accept my heartfelt condolences at this difficult time. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Like many others here, I have especially fond memories of times with Uncle Kenny and Aunt Marion.  I always felt so fortunate to have my father's (Ronald Greenfield) family close and very much appreciated having a childhood full of family, love and laughter.  Uncle Kenny was such a huge part of this.  He always treated me with such kindness (and, perhaps, some bemusement) and will always have a very special place in my heart.  My love and thoughts to Aunt Marion, Mike, Doug and Janet.

My great-aunt Marion and Uncle Kenny have been a staple and a comfort my whole life.

Growing up, the parties Aunt Marion's Greenfield siblings would throw at their homes, complete with baskets of shell-yourself peanuts and pitchers of cold lemonade, made all us younger ones feel so lucky, happy, and loved.

Marion and Kenny's infamous visits out to our house (or to my mother's grocery store in New Harmony, Indiana) were heartily awaited, and always a big reason to smile.

My uncle Kenny was a kind, good soul. He's always been a hero of mine. I'm so sorry not to be able to swap service stories with him . . . something I just sort of counted on would be there waiting when I finally return to Indiana, when my time in the Army comes to a close.

Uncle Kenny and Aunt Marion's letters sent to me in Basic Training at Fort Leonard Wood will always be great treasures.

Thank you for everything, Uncle Kenny. I love you.

Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.

My condolences to Marion and the rest of the family. The Clarks were my neighbors when I lived at home with my parents. He will be missed.

I met Mr. Clark only once or twice but his son Doug has been by best friend in this world for 30 years.  We've had some laughs talking about growing up as Air Force brats and our experiences in that regard are quite similar.  It's sure sad to lose another WWII vet---another man from the Greatest 
Generation. I certainly feel like I know the entire family well, as often as Doug has talked about them.  Kathy and I, as well as Mark and Eric, have you in our hearts and we send your family our thoughts and prayers.

Visiting Kenny and Marian's home as a child with my mother, Pat Greenfield and step-father, Roy Greenfield was something I always looked forward to. Kenny was always so very kind to us kids and made us feel like part of the group by allowing us to play card games along with the grown-ups. Wonderful memories of those times. My thoughts and prayers are with Marian, Mike, Doug and Janet at this time of grief. God bless you all.

I remember going to Uncle Kenny's and Aunt Marian's house, with my Grandmother Charlotte after that LONG drive from Texas. There was always so much love in that home and it could be felt by all. I remember going to Kenny and Marion's house with my mom & dad, Norman & Ruth Clark.  My dad was Kenny's nephew but only 8 years difference in age.  They were very close. Love and prayers, Christine Clark Davis

Kenny was a soft spoken true gentleman. He's a part of many of my good memories of the "good old days", one of them being he and Marion playing cards with Aunt Carolyn and Uncle Curt.
