He served in the U.S. Air Force and retired from Whirlpool.
Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Cook; brother, Bill Cook; sister, Nadine Goff; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Joe and Carol Faust.
He is survived by his daughter, Kim (Scott) Ribs of Highland Ranch, CO; sons, Jeff and Joe Cook both of Holdridge, NE, and Michael Cook of Evansville, IN; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Pauline and Iris; and special niece, Joyce (Richard) Skaggs.
Services will be 1:00 PM Thursday, February 20, 2014, at Alexander East Chapel, with entombment in Park Lawn Cemetery with military rites conducted by the Vanderburgh County Retired Veterans Memorial Club. Friends may visit Thursday from 11:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
