He graduated from Reitz High School in 1971. He was a member of the Carpenters Union Local 90. He was an avid outdoors man who enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles W. Johnson and brother, Lindal Johnson.
Charles is survived by his mother, Rose Johnson; brother, Derrick Johnson; sister, Pennie Uthe (Jeff), Virginia Beach; nephew, Mathew; and niece, Alexandra.
Services will be at 4:00PM, Wednesday, January 16, 2013, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Rev. Lee Shepherd. Friends may visit from 3:00PM until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
