She retired from the Evansville Water Department in 2000, after 18 years of employment. She was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church and enjoyed needlepoint, crocheting and reading.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Lyon; daughter, Tana Hallam; sons, Charles and Richard Lyon.
She is survived by grandchildren, Angel (Brent) Maynard, Zachary Hallam, Jacob (Lauren) Lyon, Blake (Hope) Lyon, Nicholas (Whitney) Lyon, Audrey (Greg) May, Elise Lyon and Katie Lyon; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Seth, and Faith Maynard, Josie and Everett Lyon, and Charlie May; and great-great-grandson, Ryan Maynard.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM, Tuesday April 5, 2016, at Alexander North Chapel, 4200 Stringtown Road, officiated by Rev. Alan Scott, with private burial in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Monday from 3:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
