He grew up in the Evansville area. Christopher proudly served in the U.S. Army for over 25 years. After retirement from the military, he worked in janitorial services at AmeriQual.
Christopher was preceded in death by his mother, Bessie Kemp; and his son, Paul Burns.
He is survived by sons, Chris (Sara) Burns, Jerry (Brandi) Burns; daughter, Allison Khan; 8 grandchildren, Rebecca, Samantha, Crystal, Angel, Katrina, Ruben, Kaleigh, Hayden; and 4 great-grandchildren, Malia, Manayza, Michael and Winter.
The family would also like to thank all who donated for the funeral expenses.
A funeral service with military honors performed by the Vanderburgh County Retired Veterans Memorial Club will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at Alexander West Chapel, 2100 W. Illinois Street, Evansville, IN.
Friends and family may visit on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until service time.
