

He served in the Marines from 1966 to 1968 and received a Purple Heart. He retired from Lewis Bakery after 32 years, then worked at Kentuckiana Vendors for another 12 years. He was a lifetime member of River Bend in Evansville and of the VFW in Union County KY. He will be truly missed by all of his family, friends and his fur babies, Molly and Gizmo.
He was preceded in death by his father, Furman Fehrenbacher; mother, Jeanette Lannan; brothers, Dennis and Donald Fehrenbacher; father and mother-in-law, James and Dorothy Purcell; brother-in-law, Jack Purcell.
Clifford is survived by his wife of 36 years Patricia Fehrenbacher; daughter, Kimberly Knight; son, Michiel Rutter; granddaughter, Kendra Scott; grandson, Kevin Rutter who he raised from infants as his own; granddaughters, Kayla Crow, Grace Motl, Veronica Rutter; grandsons, Thomas and Michiel Rutter; great grandchildren, BenBen, Kamdin, Niah Rutter, Gracie, Rosie, and Leola Scott, Waylon, Alanis Crow, and his namesake, Joseph Durham; sisters, Donna (Richard) Daughtery, Debbie and Dave Kissel, Darlene (Paul) Furman; brothers, Derald, (Karen) Fehrenbacher, Dale and Martha Lannan, Dalphis (Linda) Lannan; brother-in-law, James (Venita) Purcell; numerous nieces and nephews; close friends, George Sims, and Barry Rolley.
