Clint Murphy

Clint Jason Murphy, 53, of Newburgh, IN passed away Sunday, August 16, 2026. He was born in Evansville, IN, on April 16, 1973, to Ronald and Angela (Vore) Murphy. Clint was a Graduate of Princeton High School with an impressive wrestling career.

Clint had a magnetic personality that drew you to him. He was resilient and handled anything life threw his way with determination. Clint could make you smile and even laugh in serious situations. He had the skill to make you laugh often and make himself unforgettable.

Clint was an avid dog lover, especially his Rottweiler, Zeus. He loved going on adventures and spontaneous road trips. Clint looked intimidating with his tattoos, but he was the first to help someone in need, give up his seat, help someone reach something in the grocery store and even help the elderly put their groceries in the car. He had a big heart and to know him was to love him.

Clint loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his mom and dad. He especially loved playing with his grandkids. He would sit and talk to them for hours and loved every minute. Clint will be missed and all the lives he touched will be forever changed.

Clint is survived by his wife of 15 years, Mendy (Johnson) Murphy; his parents; brothers, Bill (Kim) Sisk and Clay (Teresa) Murphy; children, Megan Murphy, Jesse Murphy, and Zach (Ashley) Murphy; stepchildren, Aaron (Marissa) Hensley, Tyler (Haley) Hensley, Haylie (Logan) Willman, and Kaylie (Jessie) Kissel; grandchildren, Amelia, Ellowyn, Izalea, James, Ozlyn, Ayden Hensley, Kyson and Beckett Kissel, Jaxon, Kingston, K'Mya, Jaleaha, Carter, Kash, Kylie, Zayden; aunts & uncles, Debbie, Kim (Mark), Robin (Bob) Utley and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 21, 2026, at Alexander North Chapel, officiated by Bill Altman, with burial to follow in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit on Thursday, August 20,2026 from 3:00p.m. to 7:00p.m.
