Connie G. Ruston

She was born on January 16, 1939 in Evansville, IN. She was a beloved and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

Connie was a tech for over 20 years and retired from Deaconess Hospital. She loved reading, pugs, horses and her cat Sweetie. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends. She was the most loving and kind person, and she loved the Lord with all her heart. She was a member of Cypress Baptist Church and also attended Elberfeld Baptist Church as she got older.

Connie is survived by daughters, Robin Hollis (Paul), Renee Lofton, Revonne Storrer, Raina Galloway (Ed); and son, Tim Ruston (Beth). She was blessed with 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, 2 nieces, and a brother, Jerry Sumner.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Robert L. Ruston and sister-in-law, Betty Sumner.

Friends and family may visit on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Alexander East Chapel, 2115 Lincoln Ave., Evansville, IN 47714.

Visitation will continue on Thursday, October 24, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. The funeral service will begin at 11:00, officiated by Rev. Paul Hollis. Her final resting place will be next to her husband at Park Lawn Cemetery.
