Mrs. Cora E. Kenner, daughter of the late Edward and Katherine Lindsey, was born on July 27, 1941 in Rockport, IN. She was baptized as one of the Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1962. She was united in matrimony to Charles Kenner March 27, 1993 until his death on December 21, 2011.
Cora was a devoted housewife with a very positive attitude on life. She enjoyed laughter and looking very stylish. She also liked to decorate, working in her yard, going to yard sales, music, taking long drives, playing the piano and drawing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and five siblings.
She leaves four siblings to cherish her memory, Carolyn Lindsey and Lula Pace of Evansville, IN, Debra Peoples (Gregory) Elk Grove, CA, Marilyn Kempf (Norbie) of Grandview, IN, step-sons Regan Scruggs (Lisa) of Ft. Wayne, IN and Ron McGuire of Holly Springs, GA, nieces Sue Pace and Stacy R Pace. She also leaves a host of nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at Alexander East Chapel, 2115 Lincoln Ave. Friends may visit from 1:00 p.m. until service time on Thursday at the funeral home. The service will be live-streamed at www.Facebook.com/FuneralStreamUSA .
