She had worked at K-Mart.
Daisy was preceded in death by her husband, Donald, in 2010; daughter, Vicki; brother, John Bennett; half-brother, Gent Capehart; sister, Dorothy Gunter; and half-sister, Willie Mai Grove.
She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia (Michael) Bowden; sisters, Rosie (Billy) Ferrell, Louise Bryant and Bertha Baxter; sister-in-law, Linda Bowling; nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Deaconess Hospice staff for their care.
Memorial services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, December 3, 2011, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Rev. Terry Flowers.
