Daniel Aaron Osborne

Daniel Aaron Osborne, 82, of Evansville, Indiana passed away September 1, 2026 surrounded by his loving family. Dan was born March 30, 1944 to the late Clem "CJ" Osborne and Geraldine (Magnus) Osborne.

Dan was a machinist/foreman at Whirlpool Corporation for 40 years. After retirement, Dan started a home repair company with a longtime friend. Outside of work, Dan enjoyed bowling, fishing, and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, Dan was preceded in death by his sister Deborah Johnson (Kentucky) and brother Michael Osborne (Kentucky).

Dan is survived by his loving wife of 61 years Suzanne "Suzy" Whitehouse Osborne, his children Ron Osborne (Becky), Mark Osborne, and Erin Miller (Ed) all of Evansville; grandchildren Ashley Osborne, Katie Burmeister (Nathan), Lindsay Brown (Jason), Emma Nevitt (Logan), Ellie Huck (Ryan), William Osborne (Maddy), Makenna Miller, Wyatt Miller, Ayda Miller, Truett Miller, and 10 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother Phil Osborne (Cathy) of Evansville and sister Rebecca Dill (John) of Elberfeld.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 4, 2026 from 3:00-7:00 pm at Alexander Funeral Home East, 2115 Lincoln Avenue in Evansville. Friends may also visit from 9:00 am until service begins at 10:00 am on Saturday, September 5, 2026 with Dr. Ron Osborne and Rev. David Cullison officiating. Interment to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, Evansville, Indiana.
