Daniel R. Uylaki passed away unexpectedly on August 31, 2023, at the age of 32. Our family was not expecting the loss of Daniel, for his life to be cut so short so soon. We are devastated by this loss and will feel the absence of Daniel forever. He will be forever missed.
Born to Donna Hayes on January 8, 1991, Daniel was always an independent person. At a young age, Daniel's family life was strained, causing him to be even more independent and claiming to raise himself. Knowing where he came from and all the things he missed out on as a child, he made it his mission to make sure he was the head of his family by being the paternal figure, the leader, the voice of reason, the motivator, the go-getter, & an INSPIRATION. Daniel valued relationships. He challenged the people he loved to be the best and to do what they needed to do to beat the odds. Even though Daniel carried the weight of his family on his shoulders, he was fun-loving and goofy at times. We often caught a glimpse of him being the kid he never got the chance to be.
Daniel went to Oak Hill Elementary and North High School before getting his G.E.D., which he did as a young adult. He was very proud of his accomplishment because he had to figure out how to do it all on his own.
