He attended Newburgh High School and served in the U.S. Navy. David loved all sports and enjoyed playing clabber.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
David is survived by his brothers, William “Ron” Goerges (Marie) of Beavercreek, OH, Nathan Goerges of Newburgh, IN, and Anthony Goerges, also of Newburgh; sister, Sarah Lou Feller (Ray) of Evansville, IN; and ex-wife, Janice Goerges of Evansville.
Services will be 2:00 PM, Friday, December 28, 2012, at Alexander West Chapel, with burial at Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Friday, 11:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
