David graduated from the University of Evansville in 1970. He had worked as a teacher and in Pharmaceutical Sales. He was a member of Christian Fellowship Church. David loved history and was an avid reader. He enjoyed coaching his sons in basketball and baseball. David enjoyed weight training and watching Notre Dame Football. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.
David is survived by his wife of 48 years, Paula (Acker) Grimm; sons, David P. (Chrissy) Grimm of Cedarburg, WI and Derek M. (Kristi) Grimm of Zionsville, IN; grandchildren, Audrey, Ella, Madeline and Peyton; brother, Dan (Virginia) Grimm; nephews, Daniel (Ellen) Grimm, Matthew (Julie) Grimm; niece, Beth (Martin) Brown; great nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Christian Fellowship Church, with burial to follow at Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit 3-7 p.m. Friday at Alexander West Chapel
