He graduated with a Doctorate in Optometry from Indiana University and he was very loyal to IU during his lifetime. David worked many years at Earle C. Clements Job Corps Center, in Morganfield, KY, as an Optometrist. He was a member of Methodist Temple and enjoyed singing in the choir. David loved classical music and found a real calling in mentoring young children as he grew older.
David is survived in death by his sister, Barbara Mishler (Denny); two nephews, Brian Mishler (Karen), Scott Mishler (Susan); and great nephews.
Memorial services will be held 10:00 AM, Saturday, January 20, 2018, at Methodist Temple, 2109 Lincoln Avenue, officiated by Rev. Andy Payton.
