David L. Maze

David was a graduate of Central High School. He had an Associate degree from Ivy Tech in maintenance. He had worked at Whirlpool for 18 years and retired from Eastland Mall as Maintenance Supervisor.

He enjoyed fishing, going on cruises, and spending time with his kids and grandkids.

David served in the US Air Force. He was a member of Eagles View Church.

He was preceded in death by parents, Earl and Christine (Cardwell) Maze and grandparents, Wavie and Amy Cardwell.

David is survived by his wife of 48 years, Connie (Flick) Maze; daughters, Jeannine (Preston) Rhew and Jennifer (Mike) Ragsdale; grandkids, Tiffany, Charles and Steven Rhew, Morgan (Colton) Bottomley, Matthew, Madison, and Mitchell Ragsdale; great granddaughters, Avreigh Rhew and Isabella Klaire Bottomley; brother, Earl Maze; sister, Carolyn Barnes; and aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 4:00 PM Thursday, September 10, 2015, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Pastor Michael Pyle. Friends may visit Thursday from 1:30 PM until service time at the funeral home.

The family would to thank Heritage Hospice, Dr. Christopher Braden and staff, and to Cheryl Ziegler for their compassionate care of David.
