

He was a member of Memorial Baptist Church, River City Clowns, where he was known as Wul-wee, and Clowns of America International. He worked as a baler operator for Keller Crescent. He was a loving son, beloved husband, and known as Uncle Willie to his family. He was fun loving and so full of life and had a huge heart.
David was preceded in death by his father, Arthur “Pop” Thomas; and sister, Teresa Hawes.
He is survived by his wife, Vi Gene (Barker) Ritzert; son, Robert Goad of Evansville; daughter, Holly (Kory) Lary; grandsons, Isaac and Jakob Lary, all of Cynthiana; mother, Mary E. (Bollinger) Thomas of Mt. Vernon; sisters, Becky Hawes, Mary Rose Porter, Karen Ritzert, Barbara Vanzant and Schelena Thomas; brothers, Randy Thomas, Dusty Ritzert and Rusty Ritzert; many nephews, nieces, great-nephews and nieces.
Wul-wee’s last walk-around will be 1:00 PM Saturday, November 16, 2013, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Bro. Don Moore and Bro. Bobby Cox, with entombment in Alexander Memorial Park Garden of Memories Mausoleum. Honorary Pallbearers: River City Clowns. Friends may visit Friday from 3:00 to 8:00 PM and Saturday from 11:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
