She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed her teaching career with the EVSC. In her spare time, she enjoyed camping at Lake Rudolph.
Dawn is survived by her husband, George Nix; daughters, Kristi Evans and Jaime (Tim) Malotte; granddaughters, Shaelyn and Janelle; sisters, Dixie (Lynn) Wheeler and Debra Stuard; niece, Erika; nephew, Logan, and beloved dog, Ginger.
Funeral Services will be 1:00PM Central Time, Friday, September 23, 2016, at Alexander North Chapel, 4200 Stringtown Rd., officiated by Rev. Doug Heiman, with burial in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Velpen, IN. Friends may visit 11:00AM to service time Friday at the funeral home.
