Deane Tenison

She was an Avon representative in Posey County for 40 years and was also homemaker. She was a member of Wadesville Christian Church.

Deane was preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, Jesse Tenison; and her parents.

She is survived by her daughters, Tammy (Charlie) Hirsch of Wadesville and Linda Engbers of Indianapolis; son, Rick (Judy) Tenison of Wadesville; brothers, Arthur (Betty Ann) Stierly, Jr. of Evansville, Harold (Susie) Stierly of Wadesville and Don Stierly of Poseyville; several nieces and nephews.

Services will be 11:00 AM Monday, April 7, 2014, at Alexander West Chapel, with entombment in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Sunday from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of West River and Deaconess Hospital for the loving care they gave Deane.
