Deborah Jean Cavins

Deborah Jean Cavins, 43, of Evansville, passed away Monday, May 26, 2014, at her home. She was born October 10, 1970, in Evansville, to Donald Dale and Rose Ann (Horn) Cavins. She was most currently employed at Rescare Homecare. She was very caring and had a gentle heart, and was a devoted mother and daughter. Her life was devoted to helping others. She considered herself a psychic, and she was always available for those in need. Deborah is survived by her son, Christopher Holloway and best friend, Rachel Kunze, and grandson, Skyler Holloway; sons, Anthony Shackelford and Arron Shackelford; daughter, Yashavani Balasubramanian; mother, Rose Cavins; father, Donald Cavins and step-mother, Pat Cavins; sisters, Cathy Blakley, and Mary (Christopher) Dean; brothers, Donald Cavins II, Jason (Crystal) Cavins and Paul (Allison) Cavins; and many nieces and nephews. Services will be 2:00 PM Friday, May 30, 2014, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Rev. Bernie Etienne. Friends may visit Friday from 1:00 PM until service time at the funeral home.
