She will be remembered for her generosity and always wanting to help those in need.

She leaves behind her children Dennis Finnerty (Angela) and Johnetta Finnerty, 8 grandchildren, 10 great Grandchildren and a great great grandchild.

She is preceded in death by 2 brothers, Don and LeRoy Armstrong, as well as her parents Lee and Luella Armstrong. She will now be reunited with her husband of 58 years, John D. (Jack) Finnerty, who preceded her in death last year.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 12, 2021, at Alexander North Chapel, officiated by Brother Randy Chandler, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or the Boys and Girls Club.
