Dennis Ray Spivey

Dennis was employed at Tri-State Resource Recovery for over 40 years. He loved hiking in the Blue Ridge Mountains. His favorite hikes were trails that led to waterfalls. When he was younger he had a passion for kayaking, spelunking and scuba diving.

He is survived by his wife, Tammy Spivey; daughters, Kaylee and Kamlyn whom he loved deeply. His many pets were also cherished, with some of the dearest being his dog, Bear and his cat, Pounce. He valued his friendships with Rick Van Meter and Jeff Allen. Jeff was like a brother to him.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Charlotte, Pat, and Florence; mother-in-law, Marjorie Gaines and father-in-law, William Miller Gaines, whom he loved and admired with all his heart.

He will be buried at Locust Hill Cemetery in Evansville IN.
