

The family of Diane McFadden Williams Saum is saddened to announce her passing on July 5, 2026 at Redbanks Nursing Home in Henderson, KY under the care of St. Anthony's Hospice surrounded by friends and loved ones.
Diane was born July 14, 1935 in Tacoma, WA to Chester and Edith McFadden. She grew up in California. Diane worked for many years for the State of Kentucky in circuit and district courts. She graduated from USI with a bachelor's degree in social services and served as a social worker in both Indiana and Kentucky. After retiring, she was proud to serve as a docent for the Evansville Museum of Arts, History, and Science. She also spent many hours painting and drawing.
Diane was preceded in death by her parents; and brother.
She is survived by four daughters, Lorna Littrell (Darrell), Denise Williams (John), Devon Watkins (Steve), and Pat Jackson (Troy); 10 grandchildren; great grandchildren; great great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Diane is also survived by one sister, Deb Zirkelbach (Jim) of California.
Friends and family are invited to visit from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church Parish Hall, 5 South Green Street, Henderson, KY 42420. A graveside service, officiated by Fr. Benjamin Newland, will be held at the church columbarium immediately following visitation.
