Docia Faye Lee

She was born and raised in Evansville, she graduated from Reitz High School. Docia enjoyed traveling, doing puzzles and making food for the people she loved. Docia had a kind spirit and led the room. Her family kindly referred to her as the “General”.

Docia was preceded in death by her husband, David; parents, Guy and Audrey Aud; and siblings, Patsy, Jane and Billy.

She leaves behind a sister, Doris (Bob) Hollis; children, Daniel (Ruth), Donald (Carolyn), and Diane Nunez; grandchildren, Tony, Haley, Kasi, and Zachary; and 9 great-grandchildren. She also has many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at Alexander West Chapel, 2100 W. Illinois Street, Evansville, IN.

In lieu of fresh flowers, friends are invited to send an outdoor plant or make contributions in Docia’s name to the charity of your choice.
