

He graduated from Bosse High School in 1972, where he enjoyed fencing, loved journalism, and wrote for the school paper. He worked as a printer and binder for Creative Press then worked for Braun’s Nursing Home in the laundry facility. Don always took pride in his work. He ran for political office, was Mayor for the Day, and received a Key to the City. He was a Deacon for East Side Baptist Church, where he drove the church van and sang in the choir. He especially loved telling jokes, singing, and Thunder on the Ohio. He also enjoyed riding bikes, gardening, laying in the sun, and taking his kids to play tennis and swim.
Don was preceded in death by his mother and his brother, James “Ace.”
He is survived by his father, Donald F. (Roberta “Bobbie”) Inman; brother, Harrison “Harry”; children, Melanie (Tim) Michaels, Donald A. (Stacie) Inman, Jr., and Christine Murphy; grandchildren, Michael, Kyle, Brett, Aubrey, and Carlie; niece, Erika Inman; half-sister, Debbie Turner; step-sisters, Cheryl Smith and Becky Martin; step-brother, Ron Inman; and aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Memorial Services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, July 11, 2015, at Alexander East Chapel. Friends may visit Saturday from 12:00 PM until service time at the funeral home.
