

Donald “Donnie” Harris-Wilson, 66, of Twenty Nine Palms, CA, formerly of Evansville, departed this life Saturday, February 6, 2016. He was born December 30, 1949, in Los Angeles, CA to the late Claude Wilson and Georgia O. Montgomery-Lewis.
Donnie, as he was affectionately known by those who knew and loved him, graduated from Perris Union High School, Perris, CA, where he loved and played all sports. He was a certified medical assistant, and while living in Evansville, he was a manager for the former Marino Pointe Steak House for a number of years until his return to California. He was a loving and kind person and always wore a smile on his face.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Ruby Jean Ross-Walker and Somathy “Patty” Ross-Gordwin; niece, Miranda Wilson-Hutt; and nephew, Booker “Tony” Fellows.
Donnie leaves to cherish his memories his beloved twin brother, Ronald “Ronnie” (Theresa) Harris-Wilson of Twenty Nine Palms, CA; sister, Betty (Booker) Fellows of Newburgh; brother, Lawrence “Jr” Harris-Ross of Evansville; nephews, Ronnie Wilson of Merced, CA, Michael “Beaver” Kelly of Evansville, Arnold “Poo” (Mary) Williams-Giles of Palm Springs, CA, Dashan Armstrong of Perris, CA, and Booker and James Ross, both of Twenty Nine Palms, CA; nieces, Stephanie Ross of Los Angeles, CA, Jeanne Fellows-Dozier of Garland, TX, Denise Fellows-Gallow of Beaumont, TX, Sharon Renee Fellows-McNary of Evansville, and Liza Harris-Wilson-Wunderlee of Twenty Nine Palms, CA, and a host of cousins, great-nieces, great-nephews, and friends.
