Donald graduated from Reitz High School, class of 1948. He then served in the US Army. Donald married the love of his life, Beverly (Bokelman) Greer. He retired from Sterling Brewery as a loading dock worker.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Bev Greer; father, Simie Greer; and mother, Zena (Ireland) Greer.
Donald is survived by nieces and nephews.
A prayer service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 9, 2024 at Alexander West Chapel, 2100 W. Illinois Street, Evansville, IN officiated by Deacon Tom Goebel. Interment will follow at Barnett Chapel Cemetery in Elberfeld, IN.
Friends may visit from 12:30 p.m. until service time on Friday at the funeral home.
