

He graduated from Reitz High School in 1949 and served in the US Army. He worked at Alcoa for 32 years, retiring in 1993, and was a long-time member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ.
Don’s family extends a thank you to the Memory Unit at Woodmont, and a special thanks to Melanie.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Joyce Harris; second wife, Ramona Sarver Harris; parents, Marion and Edna Harris; and brother, Harold “Bob” Harris.
Don is survived by his daughter, Pam Armstrong (Terry) of Newburgh; nieces, Barbara Lord of Newburgh and Bonnie Moore of Nashville, TN.
Services will be 11:00 AM Monday, February 11, 2013, at Alexander Memorial Park Heritage Chapel, 2200 Mesker Park Drive, officiated by Pastor Lynn Marino, with burial to follow. Friends may visit Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at Alexander East Chapel, 2115 Lincoln Avenue, and Monday from 10:00 AM until service time at the cemetery.
