Don Landers, Sr., 74, of Evansville, passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2020. He was born December 31, 1945 in Evansville to the late Marvin and Ruth Marie (Miles) Landers.

He was a 20 year veteran of the US Marine Corps. Don was employed with University of Southern Indiana, the Aviation Administration, AirForce Administration and G4S. He was a member of the Marine Corps League, Military Order of Devil Dogs, AmVets Post 84, VFW Post 1114 and Westside Sportman’s Club.

Don was preceded in death by eight brothers; one sister; one grandchild and one great-grandchild.

He is survived by his wife, Paula (Davis) Landers; children, Anthony Landers (Maura), Lori Brandt (Jeff), Don Landers, Jr. (Dena) and Paul Landers (Motoko); nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren, and brother, Melvin Landers.

A Funeral Service will be 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at Alexander West Chapel, 2100 West Illinois Street, officiated by Pastor David Whitmore, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Marine Corps League Scholarship Fund.
