Donald Eugene Morgan, 88, of Mt. Carmel, IL passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at Oak View Nursing Home in Mt. Carmel. He was born on February 4, 1938, in Sullivan, KY to the late Osmond and Roma Carolyn (Woodson) Morgan.
He was a proud member and twice past Master of the Cynthiana Masonic Lodge 710. Donald worked for 46 years as a fork-lift operator for Whirlpool. He was an avid train buff and was passionate about railroads and John Wayne.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Myrna Morgan; daughter, Rebekah Morgan; and his daughter, Rachel Morgan on March 16, 2026.
He is survived by his brother, Gerald F. Morgan; and nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, March 27, 2026 at Alexander East Chapel with burial to follow at Alexander Memorial Park with his daughter Rachel. Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm until service time on Friday at the funeral home.
