Donald Edwin Myers, Sr., 79, of Evansville, passed away Friday, February 10, 2017, at his home with his family by his side. He was born November 25, 1937, in Evansville, to the late Daniel A. and Ethel P. (Hobbs) Myers.
He retired from Whirlpool as a foreman after 40 years of service.
Donald is survived by his wife of 41 years, Diana Myers; children, Donnie and Sabrina Myers and Lori and Cheryl Ellerbrook; grandchildren, Megan (Jeff) and Joshua Glenn, Zachary Myers, Casey (Wesley) Nachbar, and Travis Myers; and siblings, Carolyn Bates, Shirley Schefer, and Richard Myers.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, February 14, 2017, at Alexander East Chapel, conducted by Celebrant Carrie Hatchett, with entombment in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit Monday from 2:00 to 8:00 PM and Tuesday from 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
