He retired after 35 years from Whirlpool and was a member of Mill Road Baptist Church.
Donald was preceded in death by his daughter, Gretchen Brown.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Barbara of Evansville; son, Anthony C. (Colleen) Rice of Dale, IN; and two grandchildren, Kelly M. and Samuel A. Rice of Evansville.
Services will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, May 15, 2014, at Alexander North Chapel, officiated by Rev. Bill Kellough, with burial at a later date. Friends may visit Wednesday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
