Donna L. Dunn

She graduated from F.J. Reitz High School and went on to earn her Associates degree from Ivy Tech. Donna worked for 26 years at Escalade Sports.

Donna was a selfless soul who never met a stranger. She cared deeply for everyone and often carried the worries of others because her heart was so compassionate. She had a tender heart and carried the concerns of others as if they were her own, always looking out for the well-being of those around her. Her sons were her whole world, and she was incredibly proud of the men they became and the beautiful families they created. They were her greatest joy and the center of her life. She loved fiercely, gave generously, and left a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rita and Dave Mahrenholz.

Donna is survived by her brother, Donald Spruell; sons, John Knight (Shana) and Jared France; step-daughter, Melissa Hunter; grandchildren, Christian France, Hayley Siegel (Evan), Alexis France, Desirae Duran, and Zayne Knight; and great-grandchildren, Addilynn France, Paisley France, Presley France, and Ella Siegel.

A celebration of life will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, June 22, 2026 at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Pastor Steve Clayton. Friends and family may visit from 1:30 p.m. until service time on Monday at the funeral home.
