

She served as past president of Warrick County Extension Homemakers Sunshine Club and was a 4H leader. She was a wonderful homemaker and caregiver.
Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin V. Brady, Jr., in 2011; sister, Ellen Roettger, in 2008; and brother-in-law, Bill Hunt, in 2015.
She is survived by her daughters, Alicia (Greg) Brooks, Christina (Mike) Morris and Sara (Aaron) Pitlick; son, Albert “A.J.” (Lindsay) Brady; grandchildren, Christian and Ashlee Brooks, Elizabeth Adams, Brittany and Michael Morris, Heather Bruce, Tyler Snodgrass, Shawna Conner, Halie Wente, Jacob Fraley and Faith Metcalf; eight great-grandchildren, plus one on the way, Bessie Sue Jean; sisters, Rosemary Davis and Gladys Cundiff; brothers, John Goodwin II and Charles Goodwin; sister-in-law, Luci Hunt; many cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews; and extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, September 10, 2017, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Chaplain Tom Hubachek. Friends may visit Saturday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Sunday from Noon until service time at the funeral home. Cremation will follow the service with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery at a later date.
