IN THE CARE OF
Alexander Funeral Home-West Chapel
Doris Louise (Tieman) Kellams, 84, went home to her Heavenly Father on July 11, 2018, while surrounded by family at Deaconess Hospital. She was born in Evansville on Sept. 5, 1933, to the late Sylvester and Louise (Keck) Tieman.
She was a 1951 graduate of Reitz High School and was a four year member of the marching band. Doris retired from Franklin Drug Store in 1994 after working there for many years. She was a lifelong member of Howell United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school. She enjoyed walking, working puzzles, flower gardening and of course her love of music.
Doris is survived by her husband of over 63 years, Harry; daughters, Susan (Don Jr.) Breivogel, Roseann Derk and Karen Kellams, all of Evansville; a brother, Larry (Linda) Tieman, of Seminole, Fla.; grandsons, Don III, Joshua and Adam (Libby) Breivogel, all of Evansville, and Brandon Derk, of Los Angeles, Calif; and two nephews. Doris was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will be sorely missed by all.
Services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 16, 2018 at Alexander West Chapel with the Rev. Kenny Palmer officiating and burial in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Howell United Methodist Church.
