Dorothy N. Hemp

Dorothy loved going to the casino and playing scratch offs. She was a member of the Country Travelers, who traveled and sang throughout Europe. She enjoyed western movies and made fried chicken on Sunday’s for the family.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Wayne Hemp; brothers, Paul, Jessie, David and Mark Hawkins; and her dogs Sam and Jack.

She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Morton (Kevin), Angie Pasqual (Marcie Eller); brothers, John Hawkins (Carol), Phillip Ray Hawkins (Mary), Richard Dale Hawkins; sister, Judy K. Antunes (Daniel); grandchildren, Brittney Pasqual, Jessie Eller, Hailey Eller, Joshua Eller; great grandchildren, Skyler Crook, Tallon Crook, Jaxon McCormick; step kids, Gary Wayne Hemp Jr., Susan Haynes, Marilyn Glaser.

Friends and family may visit on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Alexander East Chapel with a 1:00 p.m. graveside service to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
