Dorothy Evelyn Nelson, 93, of Evansville, IN, passed away on Friday, April 19, 2019. She was born on June 19, 1925, in Sharps Chapel, Tennessee to the late Uyless and Naomi (White) Ellison.

Dorothy was a member of West Terrace Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carroll Nelson.

Dorothy is survived by her son, Howard Nelson; daughter-in-law, Lori Nelson; previous daughter-in-law, Cindy Nelson ; grandsons, Matthew Aaron Nelson (Tim) and Lucas Christian Nelson (Lisa); great grandsons, Maxwell Taylor Nelson, Jacob Matthew Nelson, and Owen Christian Nelson.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 22, 2019 at Alexander Memorial Park with entombment to follow. There will be no visitation.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a Favorite Charity.
