Dorothy M. Tilley

Dorothy Magolin Tilley, 93, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Walnut Creek Alzheimer’s Special Care Center in Evansville Indiana. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

Dorothy was born on November 13, 1929 in Waverly, Kentucky, the daughter of Albert S. and Anna D. (Bartley) Mills.

Dorothy is survived by her sons, Mitchell S. Tilley of The Villages, Florida and Herbert R. Tilley (Martha) of Chandler Arizona; sister, Carolyn Shoultz of Prescott Valley, Arizona; three grandchildren, Stephanie Tilley of Newburgh, IN, Jacob Tilley of Phoenix, AZ, and Nicholas Tilley of Chandler, AZ.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Herbert M. Tilley, in 1986; her parents, and siblings Evelyn Kaster, Clarence Mills, Virginia Powell, Margie Hendrickson, Betty Nelson and Albert “Billy Joe” Mills.

A Funeral service will be officiated by Reverend Bernie Etienne Tuesday, March 14, 2023, 1:00 p.m., at Alexander Funeral Home-East Chapel, 2115 Lincoln Ave, Evansville, Indiana with burial in Park Lawn Cemetery.

Friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
