Dorothy M. Wilcox

Dorothy M. Wilcox, 89, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2015, at Deaconess Hospital. She was born March, 3, 1926, in Raunds Northamptonshire, England, to the late George William and Lillian Eleanor (Atkins) Laughton.

In 1946, she moved to the United States from England with her two small children. She was a wonderful mother and homemaker. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW#1114 and Melody Hills Free Methodist Church.

Dorothy was preceded in death in 1991 by her husband, Daniel A. Wilcox.

She is survived by her sons, Doug (Jetta) Wilcox of Lynnville, and Dwayne (Janice) Wilcox of Evansville; daughter, Deanna Loraine; grandchildren, Doug (Amy) Wilcox, Jeremy (Jeanie) Wilcox, Michelle (Donnie) Duncan and Zachary Wilcox; great-grandchildren, Gracie and Asher Duncan, and Douglas William and Lane Wilcox.

Graveside services, officiated by Rev. John Burgess, will be held 10:30 AM Saturday, October 10, 2015, at Sunset Memorial Park.
