Dottie worked in ceramics, cleaning molds, and expertly painting various treasures, that are now in the hands of her family. Dottie enjoyed gardening and canning her vegetables. She was a wonderful cook and often shared her meals with others. She took pride in her home and yard and loved caring for her family. Dottie was able to spend the last four years of her life at The Heritage Center where she blossomed into her friendly and social younger self.
In addition to her parents, Dottie was preceded in death by her spouse, Bobby, in 2007. She is survived by her sons, Mark (Deb) Atchison and Tim Trulove. Grandchildren, Laura Atchison, Emily, Baileigh and Olivia Trulove.
Due to the pandemic, funeral services will be private. Burial will take place at Sunset Memorial Park.
The family would like to thank the Heritage Center and Heritage Hospice for their care. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Riley Children’s Hospital or a favorite charity.
