Although I didn't get to know Tony in person (because I live in Chicago), I knew of him through my cousin Ellen, his wife. What a kind, loving, thoughtful, strong and brave man he was. He surely loved Ellen and she loved him. Grateful they both had the loving support of friends and family during the past several months. Tony will surely be missed.

My favorite memory of Tony is that of his patiently pushing his father-in-law, Tom Cox, through the halls of Deaconness Hospital in a wheelchair to say farewell to his dear wife, Reta, who lay on the frontsteps of heaven . Standing at a tall height of 6' 8," Tony was strong and dependably faithful to all his family and business tasks!
His Father, Divine Love, is guiding him now--and protecting him as well!
To Ellen, good work, thy good and faithful servant! All God's blessings to you! Your future footsteps are secure.

Tony and Ellen how blessed I am to have had you as my neighbors. Tony was a great neighbor every single summer there he was out there mowing my lawn never would take a dime for it, tried to mow their lawn to make it up to him here comes Ellen no don't you do that Tony has a riding lawn mower he wants to do it for you that's what neighbors do for each other that's what Tony told me one time. Tony loved life, and boy could he dance. He could sing too, some good karaoke.
Cats “ feral” were his passion. He took care of colony’s all around the city. And maintained their health.
Then there’s Ellen, his eyes twinkled when he mentioned her name. His love for Ellen was deep.
Everyone that ever knew Tony will miss the “big guy”
Prayers to Ellen, family and all his friends.
