He honorably served in Vietnam in the US Navy. Earl enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, fishing, and playing video games.
Earl is survived by his wife of 49 years, Deborah Hooper; children, Earl C. Hooper III (Terie), Joshua Hooper (Emily Weis), Penny Hooper (Mike Hess); 13 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren; siblings, Gloria Moneer (Robert), Larry Hooper; Charles Hooper (Cindy); several nieces and nephews.
A military walk through will be at 6:00 p.m. Monday, August 23, 2021 at Alexander West Chapel. Friends may visit on Monday 1:00 -6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
