

He was a member of Light of Faith Pentecostal Church and was a devoted Christian. Earl enjoyed going to church, reading the Bible and spending time with his family. Earl served his country during WWII in the 143rd infantry. He earned three Bronze Stars, a Good Conduct Medal and a Victory Medal. Earl was a proud solider. He retired from the Creasey Company and was a truck driver for Federal Produce for more than 25 years.
Earl was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Sr. and Ella (Whitsell) Marshall; brothers, Robert Jr. and Donald Marshall; and daughter, Carolyn Barbara.
He is survived by his son and daughter in-law, Dennis and Kathy Marshall of Evansville; sisters, Virginia Robinson of Newburgh, Rose Minnick of Evansville and June Pate of Evansville; grandchildren; Amy Marshall of New Orleans, Dennis Kyle Marshall of Evansville, Kassi Marshall of Evansville, Joey Marshall of Cincinnati and David and John Barbara of Mishawaka; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be 4:00 PM Monday, April 7, 2014, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Rev. Barry Paddock, Jr., with burial at Oak Hill Cemetery at a later date. Friends may visit Monday from 2:00 PM until service time at the funeral home.
